Lantern Garden is dedicated to our local economy and being a Business Associate that sources garden fresh product from farmers with official certification from the Orange County division of the California Farm Bureau. We believe that every meal is a chance to strengthen the bond between local farmers and our community. By sourcing California-grown produce whenever possible and sharing the story of our food, we help sustain agriculture in Orange County and across the state.
We prioritize California-grown produce when in season—such as broccoli, Napa cabbage, bok choy, green onions, citrus, mangos, and garlic. Our suppliers maintain close ties with regional farms to ensure freshness and quality.
We create rotating menu items that highlight peak harvests. When local vegetables or citrus are in season, we showcase them in refreshing beverages and sauces.
We share seasonal highlights, ingredient spotlights, and donate to local schools and teachers and promote weekly farmer market events to our guests to help connect our customers with the growers behind their meals.
We refine prep standards and batch sizes to reduce food waste. Respecting the resources that go into every ingredient ensures we honor the farmers who produce them.
Whenever possible, we keep our purchasing dollars within California. By sourcing regionally, we help strengthen the state’s agricultural economy and support farm families.
